We are thrilled to announce that the Colorado Scottish Festival will now be known as the Colorado Highland Games!
After careful consideration, the Games Committee and the St. Andrew Society of Colorado’s council decided to emphasize our Scottish heritage by reverting to the traditional "Highland Games" designation. This change underscores our commitment to celebrating authentic Scottish culture while elevating the recognition of our athletes and competitors and aligning our event with renowned Highland Games across the nation and around the world.
Our vision is to continue providing a genuine Highland Games experience, serving as a revered gathering place for Scottish culture in the Rockies and western regions. Additionally, this name change will distinguish us from other similar events in Colorado, reinforcing our unique identity as Colorado’s oldest and longest running Highland Games.
While our name has evolved over the years, our dedication remains unwavering. We are the same passionate group committed to bringing the Scotland you love to Colorado. We look forward to your continued support and to celebrating our shared Scottish heritage for years to come.
See you in September,
The Colorado Highland Games Committee
